In machinery manufacturing, rivets are mainly used for the permanent connection of metal structural components, such as heavy machinery enclosures, agricultural machinery brackets, and industrial equipment frames. For example, high-strength steel rivets can withstand vibration and impact loads, ensuring the stability of machinery under harsh operating conditions. Compared with welding, rivet connections do not cause material deformation due to high temperatures and offer better shock resistance—they are especially suitable for mechanical parts that require frequent movement or bear dynamic stresses. Additionally, the standardized specifications of rivets (e.g., the nominal diameter series from 2.4mm to 6.4mm) facilitate quick selection and batch installation, improving production line efficiency.
