The aerospace industry has extremely high requirements for rivet lightweight and reliability

The aerospace industry has extremely high requirements for rivet lightweight and reliability. Titanium alloy or aluminum alloy double-drum rivets are used to connect aircraft wings, fuselage skins, and frames—their expanded structure provides uniform clamping force and sealing performance, preventing gas leakage caused by high-altitude pressure differences. Ring-groove rivets are applied to high-temperature components in engine nacelles; they achieve high-strength connections through plastic deformation of the ring groove and collar, withstanding extreme temperature changes and vibrations. Additionally, micro rivets (e.g., 2mm aluminum rivets) are used for the precision assembly of spacecraft electronic equipment, ensuring stability in space radiation and vacuum environments.
