Flap rivets

Flap rivets are practical fasteners featuring a solid shank with 2-3 foldable flaps at the blind end. Their fastening process leverages wing expansion: insert the shank into pre-drilled holes (ideal for thick materials), then use a tool to push the exposed end—forcing the blind-end flaps to unfold outward and press tightly against the material’s inner side, forming a firm lock.

Widely used in scenarios with thick or multi-layer materials: furniture (drawer slides, cabinet door hinges), luggage frames, light structural brackets, and thick plastic/wooden assemblies.
